Reproductive Justice
A conversation with Loretta J. Ross
RFSU is honored to host a public event with Professor Loretta J. Ross, a human rights activist, scholar and public intellectual. Her pioneering work on Reproductive Justice has inspired scholars and activists worldwide.
Loretta J. Ross will speak about the concept Reproductive Justice – coined by Ross and other Black feminists in the U.S. in 1994 – and reflect on how the concept has evolved and been taken up by social movements and civil society organisations.
The lecture will be followed by a conversation with Dr. Johanna Gondouin (MKC and Uppsala University), reflecting on the urgency for Reproductive Justice at present, and its relevance in the Swedish context.
After the lecture and conversation, from 19.15 onwards, you are warmly welcome to join us for vegetarian Jamaican Soul Food at a subsidised price of 50 SEK in the MKC restaurant, Tavernan.
LIMITED SPOTS - REGISTER BY OCT 3
